  12. It seems to me that even though the PCs parallel port is not exactly the
  13. same as the Amigas, that it would not be that difficult to create a small
  14. interface with a gal or fpga to do the logic translation. Discrete
  15. surface mount may be an option. It is the reverse engineering of the
  16. device's software that has me worried.

  18. Why do it? because there is great Par. Port equipment for small cost.
  19. Even the ZIP, Snappy, Modems, Ethernet adapters could benefit. Ugly?
  20. Maybe not, look at Trantor's Par. port SCSI adapters for PCs. Why,
  21. someone could make a driver for it.
